Verblijfpark De Wielen is ideally located between the North Sea beach and the surrounding polders. Founded in 1978 by the Baillieu family, the park has built a strong reputation for personal service and quality hospitality. Today, Eddy, Karine and their children proudly continue this family tradition.
De Wielen is a modern, fully licensed holiday park, designed to meet the expectations of guests who value comfort and quality. We welcome visitors for both short and extended stays in Blankenberge. The majority of our guests are resident campers who return year after year. The park offers approximately 240 permanent pitches for privately owned mobile homes; we do not rent out mobile homes ourselves.
In addition, we provide dedicated facilities for short-stay visitors, including motorhomes. These paved motorhome pitches are equipped with high-quality amenities such as showers and sanitary facilities. As a recognition of our efforts, we were the first coastal park to receive the ‘camping-friendly accommodation’ label from Toerisme Vlaanderen.
The café-restaurant serves as the central meeting point for our guests, opening every weekend in spring and daily throughout the summer. To preserve the park’s character, tents and touring caravans are not permitted on the premises.
